Kathy Jensen (Theta Omega, ‘71) - Announces the upcoming April 2009 nuptials
of her
youngest daughter Kelli. (After the April wedding the Jensen/Case clan will have
four
grandchildren from blended families all within two years!) Kathy is also looking
forward to
her 2 ½ week Italian vacation this fall. She and Wayne will be attending
Casa Ombuto
Italian Cooking School for one of those weeks outside of Florence.
Carol Knott (Omicron, ’77) - Announces the birth of her new grandson, Seth
Aaron Knott
born July 21, weighing 8 lbs, 5 oz. (He is their 3rd grandson and they have a
granddaughter
on the way in September.)

Karen Peterson Duggan (Kappa Omicron) - Has moved back to the Houston area. She
is
working as a realtor and her husband is selling pepper jellies from a family

Lisa Waterwall (Delta Theta, ‘84) - Announces that she will be dancing
at the Houston
Area Belly Dancers Association (HABDA) Gala Show on September 6.
AOII Rallies in Support of Olympic Mother and Alumna
AOII Alumna, Barbara Turnquist Bachman (Tau, '65), was involved in
an unfortunate attack while attending the
2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. Bachman's husband, Todd, was fatally
wounded in the attack, while
Barbara was seriously wounded. Her daughter, Elisabeth, was a former Olympic
volleyball player and son-in-law is
an Olympic coach for the U.S. Men's Volleyball Team. AOII and its members join
the family in mourning the
loss of Todd Bachman and will continue to pray for the recovery of Barbara.
Please keep the Bachman family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult
time.
